We live in a paradise for children and the beauty of our compact town is that you can do it all within a small area, so no need to spend the day shuttling the kids around. As well as our famous ski school (check out the Treehouse at Snowmass, a huge purpose-built kids adventure center which operates summer and winter) we have an exceptional pool, ice rink, climbing wall and thrilling free sledding hill, all close by at the Aspen Recreation Center.

Aspen abounds with camps and activities for kids – locals’ favorites include ACES environmental center, the Story Hours at the Pitkin County Library and for tiny tots, ‘The Playhouse’ at the Red Brick Recreation Center – a perfect place for under-5’s to let off steam in a safe environment. We’ll be happy to advise you about day camps and activities, in summer and year-round.
